ThrottleLock Goes 3D in Version 0.9

Not too long ago, we published an article on an Android type of locker for WM. XDA member APBilbo just updated ThrottleLock to version 0.9, but aside from the fact that it has tweaks and improvements for speed, this one in particular adds to new functions, neither of which you will find in any other locker app. The first one is that it allows the user to “peek” at the home screen, while disabling the touchscreen. In other words, you can look at your Home screen, but you cannot interact with it.
The second feature is that it supports 3D effects on HTC or Samsung devices equipped with GSensors. The 3D effect, for those not familiar with it was a proof of concept that the G Sensor could be coupled with the display to give the user a feeling that the image being displayed on the screen has depth. If my explanation is not depicting how this looks like, APBilbo has a video on the thread which demonstrates how this works.
NEW “PEEK YOUR DEKTOP FEATURE”
In 0.9 there’s a new feature that comes disabled by default as it’s experimental. It allow you to see your desktop even while the device is locked. You can enable it in the Config ThrottleLock aplication in the advanced section. Let me know how it works for you if you give it a try!!
You can find more information in the application thread.
