We have been using all sorts of wallpapers over the years: pictures, drawings, animations, weather wallpapers, but this is a first. XDA member MikyWoW has made an app that will pull your location using Google Maps and will place a map (from GoogleMaps) with your exact location as a wallpaper. A nifty feature is that the app will update itself, meaning that you can set an interval where the program will update this picture with your new location. It seems that the app works with WVGA, but it may work with other resolutions (QVGA has been confirmed to not work).
The program locates the coordinates without the use of GPS (like Google Maps) download the map from GoogleMaps and set as background.
- Supports Today, Sense / TouchFlo.
- Can change the map zoom and map type (4)
- You can view location marker
-Automatic changing in intervals
You can find more information in the application thread._________
