Waze v1.8 – Free Navigation for WinMo

XDA forum member tomylee has posted Waze v1.8 in the HD2 forum – a free navigation software for your Windows Mobile device.

Waze was borne out of a community project, and still requires user input in order to make it a perfect navigation app!

Users can submit live traffic information including speed camera locations, traffic incidents and traffic jams – if you are in slow moving traffic, this can be uploaded for other users to see so that they can avoid areas of congestion.

Maps are generated by users driving along new roads and editing the maps online. Maps are online, but are downloaded to your device when viewing a particular area.

tomylee has noted that installation can take up to 10 minutes.
