WIFI Remote Access is a Windows Mobile application that allows you to explore the content of your device from your computer via WIFI – without having to install any client software on your computer!
XDA forum member link8506 originally released this application back in November 2009 but it has recently received some updates.
WIFI Remote Access lets you remote access your mobile device from a web browser on your computer via it’s IP address. Once connected, you are free to browse your device and it’s contents, send files from your computer to your device and even listen to music stored on your phone!
- FTP Server
- SMS feature
- Remote Control feature
What’s more, link8506 has also included a registry editor so you can tweak the registry entries from the comfort of your desktop.
WIFI Remote Access is available in two versions – WIFI Remote Access Basic which is free, and WIFI Remote Access Premium which will soon be available on the US Marketplace.
The basic version requires ‘activation’ each time the application is launched to use the main features above, which involves a 5 second nag screen with some ads.
You can find more information on the application thread._________
