As old phones keep getting older and older, we need people to try to keep us up to date. The Vogue seems to have picked up lots of users due to a few factors, like the fact that it can be flashed to Android with quasi perfect builds of Donut and Eclair, or its price in the market (you can get one for about $80 on eBay or even at the XDA-Marketplace).
Because many users are still not familiar with flashing processes, they still depend on Windows Mobile as their main OS (and mounting Android via SD card). This forces chefs to keep cooking the latest versions of WM even for a retired device like the Vogue.
In this case, xda member Barogi44 has just released a new version of his ROM series. In this case, he has used one of the latest available COM 5 builds from Microsoft, which is 23568. He packed it with lots of new apps to appeal to everyone’s taste. And for those of you that are melancholic, he even included an UI that many of you might remember from the days of WM 6.1… HTC Home. This lightweight, very easy to use and skin interface is actually bound to give the device a new/old look to keep you interested in using it.
