WP7-Like Gestures, Answer Your Phone With a Movement
Posted September 13, 2010 at 03:00 am by orb3000
XDA member Jaxbot presented a few months ago a great application for your Windows Mobile device, which was inspired in the WP7 gesture control to answer your phone with a movement of your hand. Using the ambient light sensor and g-sensor application, the device can detect a hand moving over the screen. Some of the features on this early release are: Wave to answer, wave to ignore, auto-lock when no light, turn to unlock, and shake to save.
The developer tested this app on the HTC Fuze but should work on other devices with same resolution, some users reported working ok on Leo.
You can find a video of it on the original thread. Please leave feed back.

[APP][Experimental] Windows Mobile 7-like gestures
Highly experimental app I’ve been working on. It basically uses the accelerometer and ambient light sensor to handle gesture events.
– Wave to answer
– Wave to ignore
– Autolock when dark
– Turn to unlock
– Shake to save
It works well on my Fuze, but I’m not sure about other HTC devices.
Also, it needs the .NET Compact Framework.
Any feedback, let me know!
You can find more information in the application thread.
