Skype Beta Goes Live for Windows Phone 7

The internationally known application Skype already has stable, working applications for iOS and Android devices. Windows Phone 7 users have been asking for their dose of Skype love for quite some time as well. Well, Skype has been working on getting their product out to the Windows Phone community, and the beta has finally gone live.
The application, which is available in the Windows Phone Market, is still in its bare bones stage. The features include:
• Make and receive voice/video calls and instant messages to anyone else using Skype, whether on a Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Mac, PC or television.
• Use your Skype account for free at home, at work, or on-the-go (WiFi connection or mobile data plan required).
While the current release is missing major features such as contact sorting based on status, it will surely improve in time. As stated, this is a beta release, so expect other features to be missing as well. Thanks to XDA Member samsabri for the tip.
