How to multitask on an iPhone

iOS supports some handy, albeit limited, multitasking features

Multitasking on the latest Android phones can really leverage their mighty chipsets. Users can split the screen to house multiple open apps and even have floating app windows. While the new iPhone models also support some multitasking features, they're objectively lacking when compared to what's available on Android or iPadOS 17. Nevertheless, iPhone users can still simplify some of their workflows by relying on the multitasking features available to them, and we will be highlighting these tools below.

These are important changes for a better PC gaming experience

It's true that the best monitors offer a simple plug-and-play experience, but you typically have to change several settings to get the best output. Most gaming monitors don't even use optimized or some of the advertised settings out of the box. It's crucial to manually calibrate them to make sure you're not leaving any performance enhancements on the table. If you're not sure where to start, there are a few places you can check first.

How to set up Ubuntu

Once you boot from an Ubuntu installer, here are the steps needed to set up the operating system.

By

One of the things that makes Ubuntu a great operating system and Linux distribution is its simplicity, thanks in part to its Gnome windowing system. The setup process is also simple once you boot up your Ubuntu system for the first time. There's not a lot of extra work needed, and the operating system will take you through a guided setup process, just like the Windows 11 out-of-box experience or the macOS setup wizard might. You don't need any technical knowledge and just have to run through a few steps.

The OnePlus Open has the best multitasking system I’ve ever used on any phone or tablet

Open Canvas, as OnePlus calls it, is the most dynamic and intuitive multitasking system I've used, and I want it on all my other computing devices

I'm not sure if the OnePlus Open has sold enough units to make a dent in Samsung's foldable market share since not having carrier subsidies in North America is an obstacle, but it sure has stolen most of the thunder from Samsung on the critical front. I don't have an exact stat, but the OnePlus Open seems to have been hailed as the best foldable phone of 2023 by every tech publication or tech reviewer peer I've come across. And it's well deserved: Not only does the Open have objectively superior displays and camera hardware than rival foldables from Samsung and Google, but it also has arguably the best foldable software.

If you rely on an SSD to keep your PC setup running smoothly, you know the importance of having a high-performance PCIe controller. The speed at which your hardware operates depends on your controller, which may fall into one of five different categories based on its generation — PCIe 1.0, PCIe 2.0, PCIe 3.0, PCIe 4.0, and PCIe 5.0. With each generation, the bandwidth doubles, and PCIe 5.0 is the most recent. Now, Phison — the Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer — has debuted a series of new PCIe controllers, including a fresh take on the E26.

The Logitech G Pro Wireless is still my favorite gaming mouse, and these are the reasons why.

I've been a gamer my whole life, and I transitioned to PC gaming in 2011 when Team Fortress 2 went free to play. A short while later was when I switched over to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as my game of choice (there was a Minecraft stint in there somewhere, too), and ever since, I've competed in countless esports tournaments in Counter-Strike and VALORANT. And while there are a ton of expensive, feature-packed mice available, for the last few years, my mouse of choice has been the Logitech G Pro Wireless.

Apple explains how it counts Find My items following a quiet limit increase

You're no longer limited to 16 items in the Find My app

By

When Apple introduced the AirTag, certain power users quickly reached a 16-item limit and voiced their concerns about it. Considering the AirTag's reasonable price and Find My network's broad reach, many have tried to tag as many of their personal belongings as possible. And since the Cupertino firm opened up Find My to third-party trackers back in 2021, users have had even more solid options to choose from, beyond the AirTag itself. The main obstacle was being limited to 16 items per Apple ID, which apparently has been doubled on newer OS versions.

Now, the browser is getting some interesting AI updates of its own, with a new "Chat with Images" option appearing within Edge for mobile.
