The Motorola MA1 is essentially a dongle that enables wireless functionality for cars that have wired Android Auto. Read our review!
Android Auto initially required a USB connection from your phone, but some newer head units and cars support a wireless connection. There are still plenty of cars and entertainment systems without wireless Auto, though, which has led to various attempts to create adapters. AAWireless was one of the earliest examples, but we've never had a wireless adapter produced by a major company and available through normal retail channels — until now. The Motorola MA1 is here to save the day, but even though the name might imply otherwise, it's not actually produced by Motorola — not the Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility that makes phones, nor the Motorola Solutions that produces communications equipment.
