Google releases new Wear OS 3.0 emulator image for developers
Google has published a new emulator image for Wear OS 3, giving us a look at how "stock" Wear OS 3 is progressing.
The third major version of Google's Wear OS platform officially arrived earlier this year, on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, but those watches use a heavily-modified One UI build. We still don't have a complete picture of what Wear OS 3 will look like on other wearables, but Google has now published an updated emulator image that should be closer to what appears on the Fossil Gen 6, TicWatch Pro 3, and other watches in 2022.

Apple has finally released its Tracker Detect app on Android, which it promised to do in June following safety and privacy complaints.
Apple AirTags use all iPhones and other Apple devices as a massive mesh network, giving them better tracking abilities than most of its competitors (outside of LTE-based trackers). However, the massive network has a downside that Apple hasn't done much to address: someone can slip an AirTag into your bag or other personal items to keep track of your location. Apple said it would try to fix this back in June, and now part of the solution has arrived: an Android app.

Google says it will bring Android games to Windows in 2022
Google announced today that is building a Google Play Games app for Windows, which will allow playing Android games on PCs.
Playing Android games on Windows has been possible for about as long as Android has existed, thanks to projects like Android x86 and Bluestacks. More recently, Microsoft has been building an Android app layer directly into Windows, with software downloadable from the Amazon Appstore (or you can sideload apps and games). Now it seems Google is finally ready to create its own mechanism for playing Android games on PCs.
