Mozilla is shutting down its password manager app, but there's already a replacement
Mozilla is ending suppot for its Firefox Lockwise password manager, but its features are being added to the mobile Firefox browser.
Mozilla first released its Firefox Lockwise mobile app in 2019, which provides a password manager-like design to the login sync functionality in Firefox. Lockwise could function as an autofill provider on Android and iOS, allowing you to fill in passwords in other apps with logins saved in a Firefox Sync account. Mozilla is now shutting down Firefox Lockwise, but don't freak out — there's already a replacement.

Apple is suing NSO Group, creator of "Pegasus" iMessage malware
Israeli tech firm NSO Group created malware that could be spread through iMessage, and now Apple is suing the company.
NSO Group Technologies, based in Herzliya, Israel, made headlines earlier this year after it was revealed the company created an iMessage exploit that was used to spy on journalists and other high-profile individuals on behalf of various governments. NSO is already being sued by Meta (formerly known as Facebook), and now Apple has announced that it is also taking legal action against NSO.
