Verizon is selling the original Google Nest Hub (also called the Google Home Hub) for only $45. That's $5 less than a Nest Mini.
The Nest Hub was Google's first smart display, combining the abilities of a Google Assistant smart speaker with a touch interface and basic video abilities. It was released in 2018 as the 'Home Hub,' later renamed to the Nest Hub, and was succeeded by a new model earlier this year. Now you can get the original model — which still works well — for only $45. That's $5 cheaper than the usual price of a Nest Mini, which doesn't have a screen at all.

Apple just released the iPhone 13 series earlier this month, with four models to choose from: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The phones are a step up from previous models, with smoother displays and enhanced cameras, but the iPhone 13 series appears to be a downgrade from earlier iPhones in at least one regard — Face ID will stop working after anyone except Apple (or an Apple-authorized repair center) replaces your screen.

More leaks of the Fairphone 4 5G point to a metal frame, a Snapdragon 750G chipset, and a missing headphone jack.
Fairphone is one of the few companies around that prioritizes repairability and a decreased environmental impact when designing smartphones. The Fairphone 3+ was released almost exactly one year ago with a Snapdragon 632 chipset, and the Fairphone 4 has already been leaked a few times. The device was certified by the Wi-Fi alliance in August, and the first images were leaked earlier this month. More details about the phone have now surfaced, including technical details and new photo angles.
HMD teases its first tablet, which could be the Nokia T20
HMD Global will reveal its first Nokia-branded tablet next month, which may come in WiFi and 4G versions with 4GB RAM.
HMD Global has been producing phones under the Nokia name for several years now, from flagship-class devices to revivals of 2000s-era feature phones. However, the company has yet to produce a Nokia-branded tablet, and now HMD is teasing a tablet launch on Twitter set for October 6th.
YouTube Music rolling out to some Wear OS 2 watches
The YouTube Music app for Wear OS is adding support for some Wear OS 2 watches, including the Ticwatch Pro 3 and Fossil Gen 6.
Ever since Google discontinued its Play Music service, there hasn't been an official way to listen to music on Wear OS smartwatches. Google finally revealed in May that it was working on a YouTube Music app for the platform, but it was later confirmed that the app would only work on watches running Wear OS 3.0 — of which there is currently only one, the Galaxy Watch 4. Thankfully, Google is now walking back on that bizarre requirement.

The Jackbox series by Jackbox Games has some of the best party multiplayer games around, especially considering players don't need anything more than a web browser to join the fun. Mobvoi is misleading customers about the TicWatch Pro 3 and TicWatch E3's hardware
Mobvoi has quietly updated its product pages for the Ticwatch Pro 3 and E3, saying the watches use the "Wear 4100+ Dual System Platform."
Mobvoi is one of the few companies currently producing smartwatches with Google's Wear OS platform. The TicWatch Pro 3 and TicWatch E3 were released last year, and both are equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4100 chipset. However, over the past few months, Mobvoi has claimed on product pages that both watches have the improved Wear 4100+ chip.

Nintendo is finally rolling out support for Bluetooth audio devices on the Nintendo Switch, but there are some limitations.
The Nintendo Switch uses Bluetooth for connecting to wireless controllers, including the built-in Joycon gamepads, but the console has never supported Bluetooth audio. Your only options for wireless headphones or earbuds with the Switch was either to use a headset with a wireless USB adapter, or to buy one of many 3.5mm-to-Bluetooth adapters. At long last, Nintendo is rolling out Bluetooth audio support for the Switch.
