Verizon's upcoming smart display just passed through the FCC, revealing 4G connectivity and a "Hi Verizon" wake word.
Smart displays have become more popular in recent years, starting with the first Amazon Echo. There are now dozens (if not hundreds) of different models available, most of which use either Google Assistant or Alexa to provide the 'smart' functionality through voice commands and touchscreen controls. Now it appears U.S. carrier Verizon is working on its own smart display, though it remains to be seen who will actually want one.

Google and Samsung confirmed last month that the two companies' wearable platforms were merging, combining the best of Wear OS with Tizen software. Samsung also revealed that none of its existing watches would be updated to the new platform, but the company's Galaxy Watch 4 series would have it from day one. A purported Galaxy Watch Active 4 has already been leaked a few times, but now additional images have appeared, and there might not be a separate Active model at all.

The Galaxy Tab S7 is one of two high-end Android tablets currently sold by Samsung, alongside the pricier Tab S7+ (which has a larger AMOLED screen). The tablet has been on sale many times over the past few months, but now it has hit a new all-time low price: $526.99. That's $203 below the original price, and $4 below the previous low from earlier this month, when the 128GB model was on sale at Microsoft's eBay Store. Best of all, this is the 256GB model, not the entry-level 128GB version.

Zoom releases long-awaited native app for Windows on ARM
Zoom promised it would create a native client for Windows 10 on ARM in 2019, and now it's finally rolling out as of the latest update.
Windows 10 on ARM devices can already run many existing x86-based applications, albeit with a heavy performance penalty. That's part of the reason ARM-based Windows laptops haven't been a wild success, but the library of ARM-native software is slowly becoming better. Adobe Photoshop and World of Warcraft were recently ported to ARM Windows, and now another major application is ready for the post-x86 future: Zoom.
Google Stadia app finally arrives on Android TV devices
Google Stadia now officially supports the NVIDIA SHIELD, Chromecast with Google TV, and other Android TV devices as of June 23rd.
Google Stadia launched almost two years ago in November 2018, and while many of the platform's original issues have now been fixed, the lack of proper TV support has remained consistent. Google didn't even have Stadia available at launch on its new Chromecast with Google TV, which was released eight months ago. Thankfully for anyone using Stadia, Google is finally bringing the service to Android TV devices starting later this month.

OnePlus promises the Nord N200 will get more updates than its predecessor
OnePlus has confirmed that its new budget 5G phone will get three years of "maintenance updates," but still only one Android OS update.
OnePlus just revealed the Nord N200 a few days ago as a new budget 5G phone, aimed primarily at the United States. The hardware is a good value for the $240 price tag, with a Snapdragon 480 and 90Hz screen, but OnePlus has a poor track record with software updates on its budget Nord phones. OnePlus has now confirmed its new Nord N200 phone will receive better (but still not great) software support.

Samsung released the Galaxy A71 last year as an upper-midrange phone, boasting 5G support, a large AMOLED screen, and 128GB of internal storage. The original price of $600 wasn't great, especially when the Galaxy S20 FE was constantly on sale for the same $600 (or lower), but now you can pick up the A71 for just $375. The phone has recently hovered around $400-500, and the new price is $225 below the original MSRP.

Samsung’s latest flagship tablets are the Tab S7 and S7+, intended to compete with Apple’s iPad Air and iPad Pro, respectively. The cheaper Tab S7 recently dropped to $530 at Microsoft's eBay store, and a few days later, the Tab S7+ was marked down to $699. Now both tablets are even cheaper, thanks to a limited-time Prime Day sale.
