Samsung released Bixby 2.0 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Bixby 2.0 made promises of being way better than Bixby 1.0 which launched last year with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for a few days and in my view, Bixby 2.0 is basically the same as 1.0 but missing some features I liked. So like any sane human being, I found a way to remap it. Below are instructions on how to install and use the two best remapping apps for Bixby 2.0 on the Galaxy Note 9.

Fortnite Mobile on Android has finally been announced. Samsung and Epic Games made it official today during the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. We reported on this about 2 weeks ago. Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Mobile for Android will be exclusive to Samsung Galaxy smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge, Galaxy S8/S8+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Tab S3, and Galaxy Tab S4. After an initial exclusivity period, it will be available for more supported Android phones. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4 owners will get an exclusive Galaxy skin in-game.

Fortnite Mobile on Android is launching soon, and we have the installer APK file. From it, we have found evidence further corroborating that the mobile game will launch exclusively on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and possibly on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. Pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will get 15,000 V-Bucks according to output from Epic Games' entitlement API. Interestingly, the APK file for the Android release is already on the v5.2 patch, which is set to go live on other platforms later this week. Thanks to this early access, we have been able to data-mine the game's resources to determine what new items would make their way into the upcoming patch.

Epic Games is gearing up to launch Fortnite Mobile on Android soon, as the company previously announced the game would launch this summer. The game's launch was delayed because Samsung and Epic Games will reportedly be partnering to launch Fortnite Mobile at the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 unveiling on August 9th. Unfortunately, all rumors point towards Fortnite Mobile on Android launching as a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 exclusive for at least 30 days, and at worst a Samsung Galaxy exclusive for up to an additional 3 months. The exclusivity will allow Samsung Galaxy owners to get free V-Bucks among other in-game items. Once the exclusivity is over, Epic Games will allow supported devices to download and install the game from their website (and not the Google Play Store, surprisingly.) Our list of supported devices is based on data from Epic Games' own website, but now we have found the minimum requirements that an Android device must meet to play Fortnite Mobile on Android.

Fortnite Mobile for Android is expected to launch soon. Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, announced back in May that the popular free-to-play battle royale game will be available this summer. According to our source, Samsung and Epic Games have partnered to launch Fortnite Mobile on Android exclusively on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Reportedly, the game will be exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for 30 days and will remain a Samsung Galaxy exclusive for up to an additional 3 months. Part of the exclusivity deal reportedly involves Epic Games giving away V-Bucks, skins, emotes, and more to those who pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy smartphone. We have now found evidence that Epic Games will be giving 15,000 V-Bucks to users who pre-order the Galaxy Note 9.

Samsung launched Samsung DeX with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. It was what Samsung believed to be the future of the mobile workstation, but it was pretty much a flop. Not very many people used DeX because the station was too expensive and inconvenient. Samsung is looking to make up for that with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Our source is saying that you will be able to use DeX without a special DeX Station or DeX Pad. All you will need is a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter. WinFuture was able to corroborate this information first.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is launching in just under 3 weeks, which means it's time for the leaks to start intensifying. The S Pen on the Samsung Galaxy Note series of smartphones is what makes the Note, well, the Note. This year's upgrade of the Galaxy Note series is going to include an updated, Bluetooth-enabled S Pen with some new, smart features. The smart features on the new S Pen have been rumored, but now we are able to confirm many of these features thanks to leaked firmware from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 running Android 8.1 Oreo (the only Samsung device with Android 8.1). Since the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will also run Android 8.1 Oreo, the files from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4's firmware can be examined to look for any references for the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen—and there were many references.

Samsung phones have a reputation for having a lot of bloatware pre-installed. At one point, there used to be a Samsung equivalent application for every Google app pre-installed. Nowadays, the software situation is a bit better with a lot less bloatware preinstalled on the latest Galaxy flagship devices. One area where Samsung hasn't improved on is their penchant for sending advertisements via push notifications.
