Thankfully, the HP Spectre x360 models have two Thunderbolt 4 ports that make it easy to expand the port selection on your laptop with a docking station.

Thunderbolt docks are the most powerful, but they are expensive, so we have a couple of cheaper options if you want some extra ports without spending hundreds of dollars. The Brydge Stone TB4 is one of the sleekest-looking docks around, but it still gives you plenty of connectivity plus 90W power delivery. HP also makes its own dock, and it's actually pretty good. It has a compact design and a solid supply of ports including dual DisplayPort, USB-A, Ethernet, and a downstream Thunderbolt connection. Plus, it supports 120W charging for HP laptops, making it ideal for the Spectre x360 16.

Thunderbolt is great, but it's also expensive. This Brydge dock uses a standard USB-C connection, but it still has a ton of ports for your peripherals, including three display outputs, USB Type-A, and gigabit Ethernet. Plus, it looks sleek.

This is the first non-Thunderbolt dock on this list, and it's noticeably cheaper. Still, it gets you up to three display outputs, four USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethermet, and SD card readers, all for under $250. Plus it supports up to 100W charging.

If you're planning to connect multiple displays to your laptop, this aluminum Totu Hub can be very useful. It packs two HDMI ports and a VGA port. Of course, it's also the most expensive, so maybe you want something a bit cheaper, like the Plugable TDT3-UDZ, one of my personal favorites because of its HDMI and DisplayPort ports.
