C Locker Brings Tasker Support and More with Fourth Major Update
For those not familiar with C Apps, it’s a suite of apps developed by XDA Senior Member astoncheah home grown right here on the XDA Forums. In its year-long history, C Apps has expanded from a couple of practical apps with great potential for further development, to something much more through constant updates. So what does C Apps’ fourth major update have in store for us?
The majority of the update comes in the form of version 4.6.6 of C Locker, a third party lock screen app that already has a number of useful and advanced features and functions under the belt. One new addition is support for the very popular automation app Tasker, which as of right now, can only trigger a Tasker intent when an app shortcut on the lock screen has been launched. Another new feature for devices running Android 4.3 and newer is app notifications from Facebook, Whatsapp, and Goolge+ among others on the lock screen. More lock screen layout options such as animations and colors, and a more refined overall interface are also among the improvements to C Locker.
Avid users of C Locker and Tasker alike will definitely find C Locker’s fourth major update to be a welcome addition. If you are one of them, or a newcomer, check out the original thread for more information and download.
