Just yesterday, we talked about a great tool that helps users automate various settings including root-level overclocking parameters on a per-app basis. However, not everyone is a fan of automation, and many would instead like to set and visualize these parameters manually. Luckily, there are quite a few options like the utterly fantastic TricksterMod that let you manage your OC parameters on the fly. But since this is Android, a few more options can't hurt.

XDA Forum Member rahulkumar2048 offers up a new option called Performance Tuner. As its name alludes, Performance Tuner allows you to control your clocks and governors. It also has a handy monitoring utility that keeps track of time spent in each state. You can also change and configure your I/O scheduler to optimize disk access.

While the current list of supported features isn't exactly revolutionary, it's a solid set of basic functions for overclockers who want a simple utility that can do most of what you'd need. The app is still in its alpha state, and more features will be added in the future, so let the developer know what you'd like to see in future versions. You can get started by visiting the application thread.
