The Apple Watch is a great device for both fitness and non-health-related features. Every year, the company behind it continues to make tweaks to it. As a result, this wearable has evolved from a thick-bezeled device to a stylish luxury item that lives on our wrists. We've been hearing about the Cupertino tech giant's upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 for a while now. This model is rumored to focus more on fitness features and health sensors -- such as a body temperature monitor. A new report now claims that this upcoming watch will also feature the flat-edged design that leaked last year. Initially, we were expecting to see it on the Series 7, only to be disappointed by a round-edged chassis during the official reveal. This year's watch lineup could also include new SE and extreme sports models. Whether we see the flat design on any of them remains unknown.

In his latest Front Page Tech video, Jon Prosser agrees with ShrimpApplePro's tweet. The tweet in question mentions that there's a flat front glass display for an Apple Watch. The leaker assumes that it will be for the Apple Watch Series 8. However, they also state that their sources don't confirm the design specifics or the model(s) that'll utilize it. Considering these flat Apple Watch leaks have been around since last year, it's safe to assume that the company is at least testing this design internally. Whether we see it this year (or ever) is unclear for the time being.
