LG G4 Audio Quality
You know, you don’t have to be the only one who enjoys your music. You can entertain an entire room of folks by playing you music on speaker at full volume. I like to do this in elevators and when I’m using the bus. If I’m going to share my tunes with strangers, I’m going to want a phone that can get a lot of volume. The LG G4 has some seriously volume packed into this phone.
The G4 has one lonely speaker on the back of the phone. Because of this, I assumed the sounds would be terrible. BOY OH BOY was I wrong! Row your boat along with me, as we take a look at what makes the audio on the G4 so great.
Volume and Sound Quality
The volume on this phone is very surprising. I took this phone out during the Sunday Church service, and started watching some fail videos on youtube. The audio was so loud that everyone at church was looking at me! Oh the look of envy…
Now even though the phone doesn’t have front-facing speakers, which is becoming standard on most flagship phones, it’s still sounds really good. I think if the next LG Gx phone has front facing speakers, it could easily be the best sounding phone available. Evar.
Here’s something unique, the LG G4 is compatible with with hi-fi music files. If you’re unfamiliar with this feature, it lets you play lossless audio files with a compatible pair of headphones. So for those of you audiophiles out there, this is definitely something you’ll want to consider.
If you want to try out some HiFi music files and see what all the fuss is about, you can download some free songs from the SmartWorld app.
Recording quality is what you would expect with any Android device. The audio is great using a recording app, or using the camera app to film video. There are several recording apps that let you save your audio recordings as .flac files. Be sure to check into that, since your phone is capable for lossless playback.
I recorded some audio clips of my parents yelling at each other. When I’m away, I play back the audio and it makes me feel right at home!
