LG G4 Camera
The LG G4 has a legendary camera that will burst your barn doors off and baffle your chickens! For many people, the camera will make or break a phone. It is one of the most important parts of a phone. Who cares is you have a SnipLizard8000 processor and 400 gigawatts of radio active memory. If your camera is garbage, it’s a garbage phone. LG has actually always put pretty decent cameras in their flagship devices and the G4 in no exception.

The manual controls have a really nice interface as well, which makes everything very easy to use. Here is what it looks like.
Resolution and Aspect Ratio
Photos are taken at 16 MP, which is a 5312 x 2988 resolution. In most phones, you’re able to change the resolution that the photos are taken in. I did not see this option in the G4 camera settings. It makes sense as to why it would no longer be there, though. The point of being able to shoot your photos at a lower resolution was to save storage space. With Google photos unlimited cloud backup, this is not really an issue anymore.
However, you can change the aspect ratio. For those of you that often post your photos to Instagram, you’ll want to check out the 1:1 option. This will save you the pain of cropping your pictures every time.
Over all this is definitely a great camera, and one of the best available on any smartphone today . Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to eat some Sour Cream and Onion Lays chips.
