Galaxy S6 Specs
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a significant hardware redesign versus previous generations of the Galaxy S line. It’s among the first Samsung devices to utilize a metal frame, sandwiched by a piece of glass on the front and back. It’s also the first Galaxy S device to lack expandable storage and a replaceable battery, though Samsung has mostly addressed these concerns with higher available storage options (up to 128GB) plus a combination of wireless charging (with both Qi and PMA standards supported) and fast-charging that can charge the battery full in just over an hour. The phone is available in White Pearl, Gold Platinum, Black Sapphire, and in some markets, Blue Topaz.. The S6 shipped with Android 5.0.2 but has been upgraded to 5.1.1 in most markets. Samsung promises a future upgrade to Android M.
Reviewers say: Many celebrate the camera on the Galaxy S6, and some have even claimed it to have the best camera of any phone as of the summer of 2015. A major disappointment of the Galaxy S6 is unsatisfactory battery life, as well as its fingerprint-prone finish.
