Some users prefer various aspects of the H2OS software from OnePlus, which is offered in China, over the OxygenOS bundled on devices solded internationally. The H2OS boot animation, for instance, is quite aesthetically pleasing, so XDA Senior Member alukarulz has made it available for OnePlus 5 devices running OxygenOS, but it can also be installed on most other rooted Android devices as well.

The easiest way of installing this is with the provided Magisk Module, but the user has also provided the raw boot animation ZIP file as well. The Magisk Module simply replaces the stock boot animation file in /system/media systemlessly, but if your device does not have the boot animation in that directory you can simply manually overwrite the boot animation using a file explorer such as MiXplorer.
