How to Change the Auto Correct Settings in Android
Android phones come with a system keyboard with options for 3rd party keyboard to be installed. These input methods come with auto correct that helps us type correctly and quickly when we are on our phones. Auto correct is usually on by default, but many users don’t know that you can edit and customize it to your liking.
The customization options are going to be specific to each keyboard app, but the most basic features allow you to turn off the feature, block/allow specific words, and add/remove words to your dictionary.
To edit your auto correct settings in Android follow these steps.
- Go to settings
- Select “Language & Input”
- Select “More input method settings”
Here you’ll be able to manage your personal dictionary, select your source for autofill, and toggle spell correction.
