The Android OS gives you the ability to access a clipboard feature which lets you selected text and paste it somewhere else. It's a bare bones clipboard function that is activated when you press and hold on the text you want to copy. Here is how to use the clipboard feature on Android.

To copy text:

  1. Press and hold on the text you want to copy
  2. Adjust the sliders to specify which text you want to select
  3. Press "Share"

To paste text:

  1. Press and hold in a text field
  2. select "Paste"
Android Share's "Copy to Clipboard" Option.

The clipboard is also implemented into the share feature. When you select share, you'll be able to copy the URL of what you're sharing to your clipboard. Now you can paste it wherever you need to.

The Google Play store has many options for apps that offer more robust clipboards. If the default clipboard isn't cutting it for you, check out some third party apps.
