Exclusive: Huawei Nova 3 specifications and press renders leaked in full
The Huawei Nova smartphones are a series of mid-range devices, but that’s looking to change with the upcoming Huawei Nova 3 set to be announced on July 18th. Compared to the Huawei Nova/Nova Plus with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, the Huawei Nova 2/Nova 2 Plus with the HiSilicon Kirin 659, the Huawei Nova 3 will feature the high-end HiSilicon Kirin 970 system-on-chip. While we don’t have any pricing or availability information, we have obtained exclusive access to the full list of specifications and press renders of the Huawei Nova 3 thanks to leaker MadSimar (@Hackersimar).
The information he has provided us is in line with the details that were made available on TENAA earlier this month and are also corroborated by the firmware files we obtained via FunkyHuawei.club‘s service. According to the firmware files, there will be a total of 9 variants of the Huawei Nova 3. The device’s code-name is “PAR” or “Paris” and the list of variants reveal that the device will likely be made available internationally.
Here are the press renders followed by the full list of specifications. Most of the Huawei Nova 3 specifications I filled in were obtained from the information provided by MadSimar, however, I filled in some additional details provided by the TENAA posting. The only ambiguous detail is whether the Huawei Nova 3 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The details I was given show that there will be a “3.5mm headphone X1” in the box, but it’s unclear to me whether that’s a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter or not. The TENAA listing doesn’t clarify this detail either as it states that headphone port is an “independent port.”
