Huawei has quietly unveiled two new smartphones in its mid-range segment: the Huawei P Smart+ 2019 and the Huawei Y7 2019. The Huawei P Smart+ 2019 adds on to what the Huawei P Smart 2019 brought to Ukraine and UK, while the Huawei Y7 2019 is a small step back from the Pro variant that was launched earlier this year.

The Huawei P Smart+ 2019 is a typical mid-range smartphone, sporting a liveable set of specifications as well as the trusty 3.5mm headphone jack. The highlight of the phone is its large display and triple rear camera setup, which is a step up from the dual rear camera setup on the P Smart 2019.
The camera setup involves a main 24MP camera, alongside an ultra wide angle 16MP lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait mode. The rear camera can also record 480fps slo-mo video. Huawei has generously blessed the camera software with AI scene detection as well as AI Translation, allowing you to translate texts visible in the camera viewfinder in real time. The front camera is an 8MP shooter, and it too receives AI blessings.
Pricing and availability for the Huawei P Smart+ 2019 is not available yet. The P Smart was launched for €250, so this will be also be priced in the vicinity. The P Smart+ 2019 will be available in China as the Enjoy 9s.

The Huawei Y7 2019 is similar to the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019, but with one main difference. The selfie camera on the Y7 has been downgraded to a 8MP shooter, while the Y7 Pro sported a 16MP camera.
The Huawei Y7 2019 is available in Aurora Blue, Coral Red, and Midnight Black colors, for a price of €220. The phone is already on sale across several European markets.
