The IdeaPad 3 from Lenovo is an everyday laptop suitable for your basic office or schoolwork. The base model featuring the Intel Pentium Gold 6405U dual-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz comes with 1TB of hard drive storage and 4GB of DDR4 RAM. The 15.6-inch display comes with a Full-HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and the battery is said to last about 9 hours. The notebook comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home.
If you need more performance, then go for the Core i5 model. This one comes with the Intel Core i5-1035G1 CPU, 12GB of DDR4 RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and a claimed battery life of 7.5 hours. This machine is definitely going to run faster and offer better performance if you want to go beyond just browsing and watching videos. While it does have the same 15.6-inch display, the resolution is lower at 1366 x 768-pixels. This one comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home S but can be switched to regular Windows 10 Home at no additional cost.
