LineageOS can easily be titled the holy grail of Custom ROMs. As one of the most sought-after software experiences on a smartphone, LineageOS has many takers. Since the release the latest version i.e. LineageOS 16 based on Android 9 Pie, the custom ROM has been made available on a long list of devices – both old and new. And for those that haven’t, there’s the unofficial version of LineageOS 16 is available. These unofficial LineageOS 16 builds are developed by XDA Senior Member Stricted and Recognized Developer Ivan_Meler and are available for the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ variants with Exynos processors and model numbers SM-G950F/SM-G955F as well as the Exynos Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with model number SM-N950F. At this point, everything in the ROM seems to work perfectly except the fingerprint scanner.
