If you would like to configure specifically which applications or processes to automatically run during system startup of your Android mobile device, then you might want to take a look at Startup Manager for Android.

The application is developed by XDA forum member Davidandroid and allows you to configure precisely which apps and processes you want to run at startup or login by just checking or unchecking the item from the entry list.  Clicking on an entry also lets you view the detailed properties, and disabled startup entries are stored for future restoration.

For more information on the app and the download link to the trial, take a look at the application thread.
