Meet the Power Bagel, a Unique Power Strip That Fits in Your Pocket

Finding power sockets is a constant preoccupation when traveling. When your phone is charging, your laptop needs juice or your camera is dying. With the MOGICS Power Bagel, one wall socket is enough to keep multiple devices charged. This unique bagel-shaped power strip has five AC sockets and two USB ports, yet it’s small enough to fit in your pocket. You can grab it now for only $36.95 at the XDA Developers Depot.

Traditional power strips are long, bulky beasts that take up a significant amount of space in your luggage. In contrast, the Power Bagel measures only three inches across and just over an inch thick.

When you reach your destination, you simply pull out the three-foot cord concealed within the ring. A stepped auto-lock mechanism lets you adjust the length of the cord, and blue lights indicate when the power is flowing.

The AC sockets on the Power Bagel are universal, meaning they can handle US, EU, AU, and US plugs. In addition, the ring shape lets you use larger adapters (e.g. your laptop charger) without obstructing the other sockets. Meanwhile, the two USB sockets offer fast charging for mobile devices.

This accessory raised over $140k on Kickstarter, and now it’s available for anyone to purchase.

It’s normally priced at $49, but you can get the MOGICS Power Bagel now for just $36.95.
