Motorola recently announced its 5G device mid-ranger called Moto G 5G Plus. Xiaomi, on the other hand, launched Mi Note 10 Lite back in April as a stripped-down version of last year's Mi Note 10. Besides equally mouthful names, the two phones also share the starting price of €349 (~$395). While the Moto G 5G Plus focusses on 5G connectivity and great performance for the price, the Mi Note 10 Lite is a photography-centric device with its 64MP quad-camera setup and features a more premium-looking glass design. We're now opening up XDA Forums for both devices where users can find custom ROMs and other mods as well as discuss any issues regarding the devices.

The Moto G 5G Plus runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 mobile platform that comes with an onboard Snapdragon X52 5G modem with support for the sub-6GHz 5G network. It comes in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB configurations along with a 90Hz refresh rate Full HD+ LCD display. On the design front, the phone features a square 48MP quad-camera module on the back, dual hole-punch cameras on the front, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The 5000mAh battery on the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus can be charged quickly thanks to the 20W fast charging support on the smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is a 4G-only device. Instead, it focuses on photography without breaking the bank, featuring a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor in the primary camera on the back as compared to the 108MP sensor on the Mi Note 10. It is powered by a Snapdragon 730G  chipset but makes up with more RAM. The two variants of the smartphone include 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. The phone's glass sandwich design and an AMOLED display with curved edges make it a charmer. The Mi Note 10 Lite also outpaces the Motorola phone in terms of the battery capacity and charging rate of 30W to beef up the 5260mAh battery.
