Moto Maker

If you’re looking for a phone that you can customize down to the last detail, then you’ll be very interested in the Moto X Style. One of the primary features of this phone is the fact that you can design it with your favorite colors. This is called Moto Maker and it lets you choose the back plate color, the accent color and a front plate color. You can also choose an engraving and customize the software greeting that you see when the phone boots up.

If this sounds interesting to you, keep reading. We will take a look at all of the different ways that you can style your phone.

The color of your phone is usually a choice between black or white. Boy that’s about as exciting as eating a stale hot dog at a family barbecue as my Dad looks at me with judging eyes. This is not the situation when it comes to the Moto X Pure.

You can choose between 10 different designer colors to spice up the back of your device. Once you have found the color that you want you’ll move on to the accent color. The accent color has 7 different options which will change the color of the metal piece that outlines the camera and Motorola logo.

In addition to custom colors you can also choose to have a specific material to cover the back of your phone. There are 4 different types of real wood back plates to choose from. You’ll have Bamboo, Walnut, Ebony and Charcoal as options.

If wood isn’t your thing you can go with a genuine saffiano leather, of which there are 4 different colors.

The fun doesn’t end with designing the look and feel. Now it’s time to choose your custom greeting and engraving. The greeting will show a custom message as your phone boots up. This will come preloaded into the software of the phone when it’s shipped to you.

Engraving will allow you to put your name or a short message on the back of your device. Keep your message short as you are only allowed to use 18 characters. You wont be printing any novels on this thing.

And believe it or not, an engraving or custom greeting will not cost you anything extra when buying this phone.

In conclusion, this is the best phone out there for customizing. You’ll see other device have some features like custom shells and stuff but there’s nothing else that lets you style your phone to this extent.
