Since Lenovo acquired the Motorola brand, the Android community has been rather divided when it comes to the devices they sell. The company's high-end flagship devices haven't received very many headlines past their launch date, but their mid-range Moto G series has continued to be a popular device for them. The Moto Z series usually has a Z Force variant, but that wasn't meant to be with the Moto Z3. Still, Lenovo continues to stay committed to the brand as well as their modular Moto Mod platform.

Thanks to the work from TWRP maintainers kaneawk and XDA Recognized Developer erfanoabdi, we now have official TWRP builds for the Moto Z3, and the company's more popular mid-range device, the Moto G6 Plus.

The Xperia XA2 Ultra from Sony was just officially released earlier this year so adopters are likely stoked to see that XDA Recognized Developer LuK1337 was able to bring an official TWRP build to their device as well.
