The most popular custom recovery for Android is now available for a couple of recent Motorola phones. The Motorola One Power and Moto Z3 Play have just received official support for TWRP. This is always a big step for the development scene of any device. TWRP support opens the devices up to a wide array of modifications as it makes it safe to modify partitions by providing an easy way to make backups.

The Motorola One Power has a 6.2-inch FHD notched display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a big 5,000 mAh battery. As the name implies, it is part of the Android One program (and thus runs near stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box). The dual cameras on the back are 16MP and 5MP.
