OnePlus 6/6T's Android 10 beta arrives this month while the 5/5T gets it in Q2 2020

OnePlus shared its rollout schedule for the Android 10 open beta and final release for the OnePlus 6/6T and OnePlus 5/5T.

The OnePlus 7T Pro was officially announced today and the company shared some news about older devices as well. OnePlus has already rolled out Android 10 to the OnePlus 7/7 Pro with OxygenOS 10, but what's next? The company shared its rollout schedule for the open beta and final release for the OnePlus 6/6T and OnePlus 5/5T.

As you can see, the OnePlus 6/6T should be getting the Android 10 Open Beta very soon. After the Open Beta is released this month, the final official release will follow in November. OnePlus 5/5T users will have to wait longer. They won't get an Open Beta and the official release is scheduled for Q2 2020.

OnePlus says: "Friends who purchased OnePlus devices from our partners, including T-Mobile, Sprint and EE. We will work closely with our partners to deliver the best Android 10 software experience for your device." They also say there could be delays to this schedule, which will be announced as necessary.

Before OnePlus shared the details about the OxygenOS Android 10 rollout for these devices, we were already anticipating it. HydrogenOS based on Android 10 started rolling out to the OnePlus 6T in China. HydrogenOS is OnePlus' software for China, and OxygenOS usually follows close behind. So we're fully ready to see the latest and greatest of OxygenOS this month on the OnePlus 6/6T.
