OnePlus 6T will be available on EE and Vodafone in the UK

OnePlus is scheduled to launch the OnePlus 6T at the end of the month and in a surprising twist, the device is rumored to be available on a wireless carrier in the United States for the first time ever. The company has previously announced that it only took them 22 days to sell a million units of the OnePlus 6, but if the device is going to be available inside T-Mobile carrier stores, the OnePlus 6T beat those numbers. In a new announcement made today, OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus 6T will also be sold at O2, EE, Vodafone, John Lewis, and Carphone Warehouse in the UK.

The smartphone industry works very differently depending on which country you live in and how casual of a customer you are. The enthusiast crowd won’t mind going to OnePlus.com to buy their smartphone just like many don’t mind buying Xiaomi devices from resellers. However, there are many casual customers throughout the world who want to walk into a retail outlet and walk out with something tangible in their hand. For smartphones, this could be because of many reasons.

Maybe they don’t know what phone they plan on buying when they walk into that store. It’s possible that they want to see the various units on display so they can hold them in their hands, compare them with others, or simply feel secure knowing that all it takes is for them to drive back to that brick and mortar store so they can replace it right there if something bad happens. Whatever the case may be, the type of customer in this demographic (who also lives in the United Kingdom) will be able to do this with the OnePlus 6T at retail locations such as O2, EE, Vodafone, John Lewis, and Carphone Warehouse.
