The OnePlus 7T was officially announced this week and we were lucky enough to get our hands on it early. We already posted our initial review of the device, and now we're going more in-depth on the camera alone. There's not just one camera, of course. The OnePlus 7T has triple rear cameras like the OnePlus 7 Pro. XDA TV‘s Sandeep Sarma goes over the cameras in his latest video.

The OnePlus 7T has a very similar camera setup to the OnePlus 7 Pro. The main sensor is still the 48MP Sony IMX586 with f/1.6 aperture. The wide-angle camera is still 16MP with a 117-degree FOV. The front camera is also the same 16MP Sony IMX471. Where things start to vary slightly is the telephoto lens, coming in at 12MP with 2x optical zoom and f/2.2 aperture.

Some of the new camera features include wide-angle portrait mode, macro mode, and Super Stable mode in video recording. The macro mode seems to work well. The camera UI is exactly the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro. Sandeep says it's possible the OnePlus 7T could be better at taking photos than the 7 Pro, but the experience is very close if not identical.
