OnePlus Nord gets OxygenOS 10.5.7 with more camera, display, and connectivity improvements
OnePlus rolled out a software update to the OnePlus Nord, its newly launched affordable mid-range smartphone, just last week. Now the company is back again with a fresh build in the form of OxygenOS 10.5.7 that further improves OnePlus Nord’s camera, display, and connectivity. This appears to be a minor software update as it doesn’t seem to bring along a long list of features or improvements.
The main highlights of this update include improvements to 4K 60fps video stabilization on the front camera and enhanced image clarity of the macro camera. OnePlus also notes optimizations to display calibration, Bluetooth connection stability, and improved voice quality on calls.
The full changelog for OnePlus Nord’s OxygenOS 10.5.7 with security patch level 2020-07-01 is posted below:
- Improved general power consumption
- Improved 4k 60 FPS video stabilization of the front camera
- Improved image clarity of macro camera
- Improved general display calibration
- Improved Bluetooth connection stability

OnePlus has begun seeding the OxygenOS 10.5.7 to the OnePlus Nord units. Since this is going to be a phased rollout, the update will be delivered to only a small batch of units initially, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days.
