The OnePlus Nord was announced back in July 2020, bringing some much-needed relief to the ever-increasing prices on flagships. The Nord does not attempt to be a flagship and is content with sitting squarely in the mid-range. To keep its audience excited for the phone, OnePlus has now launched a new Gray Ash color special edition of the OnePlus Nord, one that we had spotted a while ago.
OnePlus, like a lot of other OEMs, experiments with different CMF (color, material, finish) options before settling on a few commercially viable options. For the Nord, we saw Blue Marble and Gray Onyx colors at launch. And alongside launching the OnePlus 8T and the OnePlus Buds Z, OnePlus is bringing over the Gray Ash color variant as an alternate CMF. The specification on the device remains the same, and the change over here is the inclusion of a more matte glass back instead of the glossy back.
The new OnePlus Nord Gray Ash color variant will be available for €499 / ₹29,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The device goes on sale starting tomorrow in Europe and in India on October 16th.
