OPPO Find X2 Lite launches as a rebranded Chinese Reno3 Vitality Edition
Towards the end of last year, OPPO launched the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro in China. The mid-range devices from the company featured MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000L chipset and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC, respectively. However, the international variants of the devices that were launched earlier this year in March featured completely different specifications. Instead of the Dimensity 1000L chip, the OPPO Reno3 (global) packed in MediaTek’s Helio P90 chip, while the Reno3 Pro (global) featured the Helio P95. Then, towards the end of last month, renders of the OPPO Find X2 Lite and Find X2 Neo surfaced online, featuring the same design and specifications as the Chinese Reno3 Vitality Edition and Reno3 Pro, which led us to believe that the devices could be launched under the Find X2 Lite and Find X2 Neo moniker globally.
Early this month, the OPPO Reno3 received FCC certification which further added fuel to our speculation that the device might be launched as the Find X2 Neo. Shortly thereafter, the device appeared in another certification filing, which confirmed that the upcoming Find X2 Neo was indeed a rebranded Chinese OPPO Reno3 Pro. However, we had no confirmation regarding the Find X2 Lite so far. Now, the company has officially unveiled the Find X2 Lite over on the OPPO Portugal website and its specifications confirm that it is just a rebranded Chinese OPPO Reno3 Vitality Edition.

The new OPPO Find X2 Lite packs in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chip, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage. It features a quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP monochrome camera, and a 2MP camera for depth perception.
Over on the front, the device features a single 32MP selfie shooter which is housed within the waterdrop style notch on the 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Powering the device is a 4,025mAh battery with support for OPPO’s VOOC Flash 4.0 fast charging technology that can charge the device at 30W.
The listing further reveals that the device will be available in two color variants — Moonlight Black and Pearl White — but the company hasn’t released any pricing or availability details yet. But since the product page is already live, we expect OPPO to release these details soon.
