After debuting the POCO X3 internationally earlier this month, POCO has now launched the device in India. In case you missed out on our previous coverage of the device, the POCO X3 packs in Qualcomm's latest mid-range Snapdragon 732G chipset, a 120Hz FHD+ LCD DotDisplay, and a 64MP quad-camera setup. However, the Indian variant of the device isn't exactly the same as the international variant.

Android Version

MIUI 12 for POCO based on Android 10

While the POCO X3 launched in India today features the same design, POCO has made a few changes on the inside. The most evident change is the lack of NFC, which was made quite obvious during the international launch as the company referred to the international variant as the 'POCO X3 NFC'. But to make up for the missing feature, POCO has included a larger battery on the Indian variant. The Indian variant packs in a massive 6,000mAh battery, instead of the 5,160mAh cell on the international variant.

Other than these two changes though, the remaining specifications are exactly the same. The POCO X3 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD, with a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 450nits of peak brightness, and HDR 10 certification. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC on the device is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

In the camera department, the device features a 64MP f/1.89 Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 13MP f/2.2 wide-angle sensor with a 119-degree FOV, a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Over on the front, POCO has packed in a 20MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.

The device is IP53 rated for dust and water resistance, it features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing, and dual stereo speakers. There's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated within the power button, support for Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1. The device comes with a hybrid SIM card tray, with support for up to 256GB microSD cards. As mentioned earlier, the POCO X3 packs in a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging.
