Earlier this month, Google started rolling out the Android security patches for January 2020 for all the Pixel devices, excluding the original Pixel and Pixel XL. Shortly thereafter, OEMs started rolling out updates with the latest security patches for their devices. Chinese OEM Realme rolled out an update for the Realme 2 Pro last week, featuring the January 2020 security patches and a couple of minor changes. Now the company is rolling out similar updates for the Realme 2, 3, 3i, and C1.

The ColorOS 6.0 update for the Realme 2 (v.RMX1805EX_11_A.63) includes the Android security patches for January 2020, along with some minor bug fixes and system stability improvements. The Realme C1 has also received a similar update (v.RMX1805EX_11_A.63) with the latest security patches and bug fixes. Here's the official changelog of the ColorOS 6.0 update for the Realme 2 and C1:

    • Fixed some known bugs and improved system stability

The ColorOS 6.0 update for the Realme 3 (v.RMX1821EX_11.A.25) is a bit more comprehensive when compared to the one released for the Realme 2 and Realme C1. It not only includes the Android security patches for January 2020, but also brings a new flash on call feature, a new fast toggle for dark mode, and more. The Realme 3i has also received a similar update (v.RMX1821EX_11.A.25) with the same features. Here's the official changelog for the ColorOS 6.0 update for the Realme 3 and 3i:

  • System:
    • Added flash on call feature
    • Added click the blank area to back to the launcher on recent task interface
  •  Notification Center and Status Bar:

    • Modified the charging animation display where the decimal point will not be shown after charging for twenty seconds
