Over the last month, Realme released updates for a vast majority of its devices, including the Realme 1, U1, 3 Pro, XT, C2, 5 Pro and Realme X. The updates included the Android security patches for December 2019 along with a few minor ColorOS improvements. Earlier this month, the company released similar updates for the Realme 5, 5s, X2 and X2 Pro featuring the December security patches. And now, Realme is rolling out updates with the Android security patches for January 2020, starting with the Realme 2 Pro.

The ColorOS 6.0 update for the Realme 2 Pro (v.RMX1801EX_11_C.26) not only includes the January security patches but also brings a couple of new features, including a new flash on call feature and more. Here's the official changelog for the latest OTA update for the device:

  • Security:
    • Android security patch: January, 2020
  • System:
    • Added flash on call feature
    • Added click the blank area to back to the launcher on recent task interface
  • Notification Center and Status Bar:
    • Added fast switch toggles of dark mode in notification center

The latest ColorOS update for the Realme 2 Pro has already started rolling out to users in India and if you own a 2 Pro, you should get the OTA notification soon. In case you haven't received the notification yet, you can check for the update in the System Updates section within the device settings. Alternatively, if you don't wish to wait for the update, you can download the OTA package from the link below and install the update manually.
