Samsung Launches the Galaxy C7 Pro with Snapdragon 626 in India for ₹27,990 ($435)
In an attempt to bolster its mid range lineup in India, Samsung has made an addition to its device portfolio with the launch of the Galaxy C7 Pro in the country.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is a refresh of the Galaxy C7 that was launched in mid 2016. The C7 Pro borrows the full metal unibody design of its predecessor and does changes with how the antenna bands appear on the back of the device. Unlike the current generation flagships, the C7 Pro still carries on the older Samsung design language with the physical home button with integrated fingerprint scanner and a conventional flat display.
The Galaxy C7 Pro comes with a 5.7″ FHD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 on top. Inside, the Indian variant of the Galaxy C7 Pro comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC clocked in at 2.2GHz, instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 as seen on the Chinese variant. RAM is plentiful with 4GB advertised, and so is internal storage with 64GBs. There is also microSD expandability up to 256GB thanks to the hybrid Dual SIM slot. The phone is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery with fast charging support which claims going from 0 to 100% in just 100 minutes. The phone also has features like USB Type-C, NFC, and thankfully, a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The camera setup on the C7 Pro includes a 16MP shooter with f/1.9 on the rear as well as on the front. Rear camera support autofocusing via PDAF.
The C7 Pro comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow along with Samsung’s TouchWiz UX on top.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be available exclusively on Amazon.in from 11th April 2017 at a price of ₹27,990 ($435) in Navy Blue and Gold color variants.
