Simplify Your Backups with Rsync Backup for Android

XDA member _sammael_ just developed his first Android application, which seems to be a good tool for Linux users. Rsync backup is a tool that will, in essence, allow the user to copy data back and forth between the user’s computer and their Android device remotely. It uses SSH for the communication with the server, but users that are not familiar with this should probably read a bit before going ahead to mess with the application, according to the dev.

If you have questions, comments, or feedback about it, please post in the corresponding thread.

The application is for advanced Linux/Unix users who want to copy data to/from a remote server using rsync (don’t install it if you know nothing about rsync and SSH). It supports Remote Notifier notifications and provides Locale/Tasker plugin, which helps in automating backups.

You can find more information in the application thread.
