Ready, Set, Port! Sony Xperia Z3 System Dump is Here
Sony came out with a trio of devices at IFA 2014 this year, all of which admittedly look simply amazing both on paper and in real life. As what has become customary over the years, one of the devices released in the latter half of the year is the company’s brand new flagship, the Sony Xperia Z3. As is always the case here at XDA, the system dump of the device has become available mere days after it has been revealed.
Credit goes to XDA Senior Member JanM RS who shared the system dump of the Xperia Z3 on the forum, with the ZIP package coming in at around 1 GB in size. The dump includes all the new goodies that come with the new flagship, such as launchers, apps, wallpapers, and the like, many of which we should see being ported to other devices in the coming days and weeks. This system dump also houses everything else we should expect from the latest version of Android KitKat 4.4.4, with the software build number being 23.0.A.2.93.
It’s always exciting for the dev community when this kind of thing happens, as it means owners of other devices may have the chance to get a feel of what the software would be like on new device. Hence, if you can’t wait to check out the system dump of the Xperia Z3, head over to the Sony Xperia Z3 system dump thread to get started.
