In the age of 40”+ TV screens and wireless connectivity almost everywhere on the planet, streaming media content is nothing unusual. There are quite a few applications that handle the process nicely, and we want to present you one of them that recently was presented on XDA.

My Cloud Cast is an app created by XDA Senior Member dcucko, who also created My Cloud Player. My Cloud Cast allows to stream the media to almost any UPnP/DLNA receiver, and even to few of them at the same time.

At the current stage of development, this app can remotely play and stop the streamed media, set the renderer volume, and seek time on the currently played track. You need to keep in mind that the last option is not fully supported on every device. The developer plans to implement an option to mirror from My Cloud Cast in upcoming versions. We all want to wish him good luck.

If you own a DLNA or UPnP receiver and want to play you favorite music or videos on your TV, make your way to the application thread and grab the newest version of My Cloud Cast and learn more about streaming your media.
