Samsung will update Good Lock with One UI 2.0 (Android 10) support on February 3rd
Samsung is working to update Good Lock with support for One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. The update is expected to be released on February 3.
Samsung released its Good Lock suite of customization tools all the way back in 2016. The app was designed to help users tweak the appearance of TouchWiz on Android Marshmallow. Alongside the release of Android Oreo, Samsung introduced a ton of new features in Good Lock and early last year in March, the app was updated to include support for devices running One UI. The app has since received a number of updates, including new modules to bring features like slim recent apps, quick tools/actions in one-hand operation, and more. Early last month, Samsung released a Theme Park module for the app which allows users to theme One UI. However, up until now, the app didn't include support for One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. According to a recent update from the company, the app will finally be updated to support One UI 2.0 early next month.
Huawei reveals full list of smartphones getting EMUI 10
Huawei is announcing the rollout schedule for stable EMUI 10 based on Android 10, starting with the Huawei P30 series and Mate 20 series.
Late last year, Huawei announced EMUI 10, its latest software based on Android 10. They kicked things off with a beta that was made available for many Huawei and Honor devices. Today, the company is announcing (via press release) the rollout schedule for stable EMUI 10, starting with the Huawei P30 series.

Realme has begun its rollout of Realme UI alongside Android 10. The company first unveiled Realme UI alongside the launch of the Realme X50 5G at an event in China. The rollout of Realme UI began with the Realme 3 Pro a few days ago, and now, the company is rolling out Android 10 and Realme UI for the Realme XT.

Realme has now started rolling out a ColorOS 6 update based on Android 10 for the Realme 3 Pro featuring the new Realme UI.
Back in August last year, Realme's CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that the company was working on RealmeOS — an all-new Android skin for its devices. However, the company shelved its plans for a completely new OS later that year in November. Instead, the company planned on offering a customized version of ColorOS 7 with a near-stock Android interface. Earlier this month, the company first unveiled Realme UI alongside the launch of the Realme X50 5G at an event in China. And now, it's finally rolling out the new Realme UI based on Android 10 to the Realme 3 Pro.
Stable Android 10 begins rolling out to the LG V50 in Korea
The LG G8 received stable Android 10 last month, and now it's time for the LG V50 to do the same, starting with the model in Korea.

Live Caption was originally a Pixel 4 exclusive, but last month it came to the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a. Now, it's expanding to the Pixel 2.
One of the most interesting features that launched with Android 10 on the Pixel 4 is Live Caption. This is a great feature for those who are deaf or hearing impaired. It automatically provides captions for any audio that is playing on your device. It was originally a Pixel 4 exclusive, but last month it came to the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a. Now, it's expanding to the Pixel 2.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 began its journey with Android 8.1 Oreo when the phone launched in July 2018, and in India the next month. The Mi A2 received its stable Android 9 Pie update in November 2018, bringing the phone up to speed on the then-latest version of Android. Android 10 launched for the public in September 2019, and we're already in January 2020 -- for Android One users running a rather barebones build of Google's Android, this has been a long wait. We spotted the Android 10 kernel sources for the Mi A2 and the Mi A3 yesterday, and now, the Xiaomi Mi A2 has finally received its official Android 10 update.

Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 10 builds of MIUI 11 beta for the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi K20/Mi 9T, Mi MIX 3, Mi 8 SE, and Mi 9 SE.
Following the official rollout of Android 10 back in September last year, Xiaomi showcased MIUI 11 at a launch event later that month. Shortly thereafter, the company started rolling out MIUI 11 for a number of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, however, the software was still based on older versions of Android. The company has since rolled out MIUI 11 based on Android 10 for a couple of devices, including the Redmi K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro, Mi 9, and more. Now, the company is rolling out MIUI 11 based on Android 10 for the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi K20/Mi 9T, Mi MIX 3, Mi 9 SE, Mi 8 SE, and others.
Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A2 Android 10 kernel sources released before update
Xiaomi has yet to release official Android 10 update for the Mi A3 and Mi A2, but they might be coming soon as kernel sources have already been released.
Xiaomi launched the Mi A3 in July 2019 with Android 9 Pie, and the good-looking smartphone made its way to India a month later. Similarly, the Mi A2 was launched in July 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo and made its way to India in the next month. The Mi A2 received its stable Android 9 Pie update in November 2018, bringing the phone up to speed on the then-latest version of Android. We're in 2020, and both the Android One smartphones from Xiaomi are awaiting their Android 10 update. While we have no information on when exactly the updates are arriving, Xiaomi has already uploaded kernel sources for the Android 10 update for the Mi A2 and Mi A3.

Xiaomi has been busy rolling out Android 10 to a range of Redmi and Mi lineup of smartphones, starting from the Redmi K20 Pro which received the update on the very first day Google released Android 10 to the more recent Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi K20, Mi 8, Mi MIX 3, and Mi 9 SE which received Android 10 just yesterday. The long list of devices means there are still many smartphones waiting for their turn to taste the sweet Android treat. One such Xiaomi device which has yet to receive official Android 10 is the Mi 9 Lite (aka Mi CC9 in China), launching first in China in July last year and subsequently arriving in the European markets a few months later. The device did receive the stable MIUI 11 update around November but it was still based on Android 9 Pie — as opposed to Android 10 that many were hoping for.

As per the update schedule released lasat year, HMD Global has now started rolling out Android 10 to the mid-range Nokia 6.1 Plus.
When it comes to updates, HMD Global is one of the few manufacturers that delivers timely updates for its current generation of Nokia smartphones. Following the official rollout of Android 10 in September last year, HMD Global revealed an update roadmap for its devices. In keeping with the update schedule, the company rolled out the Android 10 update for the Nokia 8.1 early in October, which was followed by the Nokia 9 PureView and the Nokia 7.1 in December. Now, the company is rolling out the update for the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
Motorola starts rolling out Android 10 to the Motorola One Vision
Motorola has begun rolling out the stable Android 10 OTA to the Motorola One Vision owners in Brazil. The update also packs January 2020 security patches.
After rolling out stable Android 10 to the Motorola One Power last month, Lenovo-owned Motorola is now bringing the latest version of Android to its mid-range smartphone, the Motorola One Vision. The company has begun rolling out the stable OTA to One Vision owners in Brazil. According to the Motorola Brazil software support page, the company kicked off the staged software rollout of Android 10 on January 6, 2020, and that all One Vision units should receive the update by February 6.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 get DeX for PC support with One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 have received One UI 2.0 updates based on Android 10 which also brings DeX for PC support to the devices.
Shortly after the launch of the Galaxy Note 10 last year, Samsung introduced the new DeX integration with Windows and Mac PCs for the device. The feature was soon ported over to the Galaxy S10 series and there were rumors that the company was planning on extending support to its flagship lineup from 2018 with the One UI 2.0 update. Now, with the rollout of the Android 10 beta update for the Samsung Galaxy S9 series and stable update for the Note 9, it's essentially been confirmed that DeX for PC is supported on Samsung's 2018 flagships.
OPPO recruits beta testers for ColorOS 7 and Android 10 update for the OPPO F11 and OPPO F11 Pro
Chinese OEM OPPO has now opened applications for a trial version of ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 for the OPPO F11 series.
Late last month, OPPO announced the latest version of its Android skin — ColorOS 7 — based on Android 10 in China. Soon thereafter, the company announced ColorOS 7 for global markets at an event in New Delhi. We got a chance to experience the new software with all the new features and UI changes, but the software is yet to make it to end-users. While OPPO and Realme plan to start rolling out ColorOS 7 to their devices early next year, the companies have started testing the software with a select group of users. Realme has already started ColorOS 7 beta recruitments for its flagship Realme X2 Pro. Now, OPPO is following suit with a trial version of the software for the OPPO F11 series.

Android Q betas gave us our first look at an experimental Desktop Mode on Android smartphones. Enabled through a setting in Developer Options, this Desktop Mode brought up a new Android interface that resembled a more conventional desktop launcher, with the ability to launch apps in freeform multi-windows. Google has even provided more information for app developers to adapt their applications to work harmoniously with a secondary display. Curiously, Google has not really introduced Desktop Mode with much fanfare just yet, as the experimental setting is quite barebones in its approach, needing a lot of fixes and playing around to make it more useful. However, Flow Desktop goes a step ahead in this direction as a launcher, adding more utility to the hidden Desktop Mode.

ASUS is one of the smartphone brands that has improved the most during 2019. The launch of the ZenFone 6 was certainly one that caught us off guard: it provided flagship performance on a budget, and what's better, they got rid of all of ZenUI's bloat, with the newer version of ZenUI being very, very close to stock Android. It went on to become one of ASUS's biggest smartphone hits - at least among smartphone enthusiasts - in a while. Then we saw them release the ASUS ROG Phone II, which is a total powerhouse of a device, powered by a Snapdragon 855+, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 120Hz display. It also brought the same software that made the ZenFone 6 so great. Now, after pushing the Android 10 update for the ZenFone 6 and 5Z, ASUS is gearing up to roll out the update for the ROG Phone II. Before that happens, the device is first receiving a beta update to Android 10.
[Update: Rolling Out in US] Samsung is rolling out Android 10 with One UI 2.0 to the Galaxy Note 10
Following the One UI 2.0 rollout for the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30, Samsung has now started rolling out the Android 10 update for the Galaxy Note 10 series.
Samsung initially kicked off the One UI 2.0 beta program for the Galaxy S10 series earlier this year in October. The company then extended the program for several devices in the Galaxy S and Note lineup shortly thereafter. As per the update schedule released late last month, the company had planned to release the stable version of the software to several devices starting January 2020. However, much to the surprise of Galaxy S10 users, the company started rolling out the stable Android 10 release earlier this month. While the beta program was limited to the flagship devices in the company's lineup, Samsung surprised us yet again and released One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 for the budget-friendly Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 in India. It seems like the company isn't following its own update schedule as it has now started rolling out the stable release for the Galaxy Note 10 series in Germany.

Early last month, ASUS rolled out the stable Android 10 update for the ZenFone 6/ASUS 6Z, bringing all the new features introduced in Google's latest software release. Shortly thereafter, the company released kernel sources of the Android 10 release.
