OnePlus recently rolled out the stable Android 10 update for 2017's OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T in the form of OxygenOS 10 after a brief beta testing phase. Apart from introducing features like Game Space, the company also brings in a revised gesture mechanism. Many OnePlus 5/5T users are not exactly happy to discover that the original OnePlus full-screen gesture implementation goes missing after the OxygenOS 10 update. Worry not, as XDA Senior Member Pierre02 has already discovered a simple trick to restore the good old gestures on both the OnePlus 5 and 5T.

It looks like the OnePlus software team is having a productive lockdown, as they just released the stable version of Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. Both of these devices are the 'flagship killers' from 2017. It was back in October of last year when OnePlus promised to bring Android 10 to these devices by Q2 of 2020. The first Open Beta was available just a month ago. Within the current month, we've seen the second and third Open Betas. Now, just under a week later since the last beta, OnePlus is releasing a stable version of OxygenOS 10.

Google Chrome will eventually start showing Google Search results in a dark theme when Android 10's dark mode is turned on.
The introduction of a system-wide dark mode toggle in Android 10 has had a massive effect on the UI designs of many Android apps. A lot of Android apps have built-in dark themes now, and many of these apps also sync their dark theme with Android 10's toggle. Google Chrome already does this for its toolbar and settings pages, but soon it'll also darken Google Search results in sync with Android 10's dark mode toggle.

The Sprint variant of the LG G8X ThinQ has started receiving stable Android 10 update. LG has also published updated kernel source codes for several models.
The original LG G8 ThinQ received its Android 10 update back in December 2019 while the "Dual Screen" compatible LG G8X ThinQ is scheduled to get its Android 10 update in Q2 2020. Now, owners of the Sprint LG G8X ThinQ will be glad to know that the device is receiving its dose of Android 10 through an OTA update.

Android 10 rolls out to the Motorola Razr with new Quick View features and more app integrations
Motorola is bringing Android 10 to the Razr and further emphasizing one of the Razr's biggest advantages as well: the outer display.
The rebooted Motorola Razr launched in February and had a rockier start than the company hoped. There were some hardware concerns and it was quickly overshadowed by the similarly priced Galaxy Z Flip with better specifications. Samsung kicked off its Android 10 update rollout with the Galaxy S10 series in October last year. The company then went on to update its other premium phones including the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note 9 series. Samsung even released a roadmap detailing various mid-range and budget smartphones it had planned to update to One UI 2.0. As per the update roadmap, the company has been busy rolling out the Android 10 update to its mid-range and entry-level smartphones since the start of the year. Samsung recently rolled out One UI 2.0 with Android 10 to the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20e, and Galaxy Xcover 4s. Now, the budget Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A20s have also joined the list.

Sony Xperia 10 and 10 Plus have finally started receiving the stable Android 10 update. The OTA also brings in March 2020 security patches.
During Mobile World Congress in 2019, Sony unveiled the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus, two mid-range smartphones with tall 21:9 displays. The phones launched with Android 9 Pie on board, but Sony promised an update to Android 10 "early 2020 onwards". Sony quickly added both devices to the company's Open Devices Program, and the device duo got official TWRP and LineageOS 17.1 support earlier this year. Now, it appears that Sony is officially rolling out the Android 10 update for the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus.

Xiaomi has traditionally been associated with smartphones that offer the best bang for the buck. While Xiaomi has a massive portfolio of products – from smartphones to dumb feature phones, laptops, smart TVs, IoT products, and even STEM toys. Each of these products is priced as economically possible and this has lent Xiaomi and brands under or backed by it (like Redmi and POCO) a persona of affordability. However, the company has also been producing flagship products, which lie between true flagships and flagship killers. To mark its 10th anniversary, Xiaomi introduced the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro earlier this year in China, followed by its launch in the European markets. Today, Xiaomi is bringing the Mi 10 5G – but without the Pro – to India after several years of focus on the mid-range in the country.
ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 receives second Android 10 beta update with April 2020 security patches
ASUS has released a new Android 10 beta update for the ZenFone Max Pro M1 that brings in April 2020 security patches and Widevine related fixes.
Despite not taking part in the Android One program, ASUS launched the ZenFone Max Pro M1 back in 2018 with a close-to-stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone received its Android Pie update around a year ago, and ASUS delivered a beta version of Android 10 for this device in January 2020. While we don't know any specific timeframe regarding the arrival of the stable Android 10 update as of yet, it seems quite close as ASUS decided to publish a second beta build of Android 10 for the ZenFone Max Pro M1.
OnePlus 5 and 5T get OxygenOS Open Beta 2 with April 2020 patches
The second OxygenOS Open Beta with Android 10 and April 2020 security patches has just been released for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T.
Last week OnePlus finally delivered on a promise they made back in October of 2019: to update both the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T to Android 10. As such, the first OxygenOS Open Beta based on Android 10 was released for both phones, allowing users to test drive the early software release and provide their feedback ahead of the official rollout.

In its early days, Realme shipped a slightly modified version of ColorOS on its smartphones. However, it's nowhere near the close-to-stock experience as claimed by the company, but it's something at least. The company had promised to bring the new Reame UI to several existing Realme phones and even shared a general timeline about the update rollout. Devices like the Realme 3 Pro, Realme XT, Realme X, and Realme 5 Pro received their updates a while back. Now the company has begun rolling out Realme UI based on Android 10 to Realme 3 and Realme 3i.
Walmart is launching more cheap Onn tablets, this time with Android 10 on board
US retail giant Walmart is launching another pair of Onn tablets next month, featuring budget specifications and Android 10 out of the box.
Over the last couple of years, the Android tablet market has seen a steady decline. Despite the fact that there are several players in the Android ecosystem, Samsung and Huawei were the only major manufacturers offering Android-powered tablets up until last year. This changed when U.S. retail giant Walmart entered the Android tablet space with its Onn tablets back in May last year. Walmart's Onn tablets were the first tablets to ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box and they offered low-end hardware at quite an affordable price. It seems like Walmart saw some success with the initial release, as the company is coming back with another pair of tablets this year.
CarbonROM releases its Android 10 custom ROM for 13 Google, Xiaomi, and OnePlus devices
The CarbonROM 8.0 builds are now live for 13 devices including the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 6 / 6T, POCO X2, Redmi Note 7, and more.
In a blogpost, the CarbonROM team has announced the release of first official Android 10 based builds for Xiaomi, OnePlus, Essential and Nexus devices. The new CarbonROM revision 8.0 is codenamed PAX, after the Latin word for peace. This new release not only bumps up the Android version officially, but it also brings along the latest security patches from the month of April 2020.

In the last few weeks, HMD Global has rolled out the Android 10 update for the Nokia 7.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 8 Sirocco, and the Nokia 2.3. And now, the company is rolling out the update for the Nokia 6.2.
