Apple Stores are the go-to destination when online troubleshooting takes you nowhere. Whether your new iPhones, versatile iPads, or great Macs are glitching, these places have the tools to detect and solve these problems. The Cupertino overlord provides its authorized repair centers with exclusive tools. They pack very specific functionalities and are designed for Apple products in particular. For the longest time, these stores would depend on manual tests to uncover the cause of multiple, abrupt iPhone restarts. Thanks to a new tool, though, this process can now be automated. This could lead to faster iPhone servicing speeds.

The iPod is one of the most iconic products Apple has released to date. Despite iPods no longer belonging in our modern world, we still acknowledge their importance in pushing many technologies further. During a limited timeline in the past two decades, iPods peaked to become an epitome of compact music consumption. Eventually, they fell -- as most things do. Nonetheless, their temporary relevance shall remain engraved on many fans' hearts. Two days ago, Apple announced that it's discontinuing the iPod once they run out of stock. Less than 48 hours later, the online Apple Store in the United States sold out the iPod Touch 7 -- the last member of the retired family. Users interested in buying this product will have to look on second-hand markets or check for leftover units at physical Apple Stores and other retailers.

There's no denying that Apple is a resourceful corporation. The company continues to expand the fields it covers -- attracting more customers and perfecting existing technologies in the process. However, that doesn't necessarily make the Cupertino tech giant a flawless overlord. There are plenty of examples that prove how even some of the greatest minds out there are fallible. After all, the company is run by humans (as far as we know), and oversights are bound to happen. For the unaware, when you face Face ID problems and head to the Apple Store, the company doesn't repair it -- it actually replaces the whole iPhone. The good news is that a report claims that this will be changing soon. The bad news is that it took the company over four years to figure it out.

Being a student has plenty of perks, including discounts offered by certain companies around the world. For years now, Apple has had an education version of its online store with exclusive deals and discounted prices on select products. Apple highlights that these discounts are aimed at students, teachers, and staff working at educational institutions in eligible countries. Until now, though, the company didn't require any form of verification to take advantage of the deals in the US. Some customers would brag online on how they're getting cheaper Apple products -- despite them not being technically eligible. However, this is no longer the case, as the company now requires verification through UNiDAYS in the United States.
